Erika started her career in nursing as an LVN and later went back to school to become a Registered Nurse to help those in her community. Erika’s goal was to be a familiar face to those going through health problems and to be able to help them navigate care similar to what she did for her grandparents as a child. As nurses we all know the value of compassion and hard work. Erika is a firm believer that the work you do should reflect your core values. Growing up in the inner city she saw the poverty and needs in her community. She had family who experienced homelessness and was fortunate to see how others showed them grace, generosity and love. Working with Highly Favored: A Blessing to Others gives Erika the opportunity to pay it forward to those in need.
